COCKPIT SUNSHADES

Custom designed to match the cockpit window configurations.

Used for the side windows in virtually all aircraft, and some front windows / windshields.

They incorporate a semi-transparent film which is reflective on the outboard side and dark gray or amber on the inboard side. The film thickness has been optimized to provide maximum protection for the flight crew while still maintaining “see through” visibility, excellent durability as well as scratch and abrasion resistance.

Meets FAA requirements.

Our sunshades retract in their housing or under the trim when not in use.

These films are layered with a combination of materials to provide ultraviolet (UV) and infrared blockage, providing blockage of 99.7 % of harmful UV rays

Whopping 92 % heat rejection and reducing demand on the A/C, it is admitted that the cockpit sunshades more than pay for themselves in fuel saving alone.
